Frequently Asked Questions
What are you studying?
Each focus group focuses on a specific topic or scenario, which is explained clearly before you commit to participating. Topics vary by study and are designed to gather thoughtful perspectives from a group that reflects the local community.
We do not conduct advocacy or promotional research, and participation is never about selling products or services. The purpose is to generate structured insight and data from real people in a professional setting.
What do you use my information for?
We only collect the details we need to match you to the right study for your area and background. Your answers—like age, education, and occupation—help us build balanced, realistic discussion groups that represent local communities.
We never sell or share your data. It’s used only for screening, scheduling, and confirming attendance for the specific project you apply to.
Do you share my name with anyone?
No. Your full name is never shared with the client or research team.
They’ll only see your first name and the first initial of your last name (for example, Alex R.).
Your identity and contact information remain private at all times.
Do I need to sign anything before participating?
Yes. Before the session begins, you’ll review and sign a short participation and confidentiality agreement.
This simply confirms that you understand the discussion is private and that you agree not to share any materials or topics discussed during the session.
Are the focus groups recorded?
Yes. Each session is audio- and video-recorded so the research team can accurately review participants’ feedback afterward.
Recordings are used for internal analysis only—they are never shared publicly or used for marketing.
Your name is not attached to these recordings.
Why do you ask demographic questions like age, gender, or background?
Each study aims to include a mix of people that reflects the community where the session takes place.
These questions help us form balanced, representative groups—never to exclude or favor anyone unfairly.
Why do I have to apply for each event separately?
Every study is held in a different city, on a specific date, with unique requirements.
That’s why we ask you to apply individually for each event—it helps us confirm your eligibility and availability for that exact project.
What if I can’t make it after confirming?
If something changes, please contact us as soon as possible.
Advance notice helps us fill your seat fairly and keeps you eligible for future opportunities.
How can I update or remove my information?
You can email us anytime to update your details or request removal from our list.
We process all privacy and deletion requests promptly in accordance with data-protection laws.
